ALTA Surveys

An ALTA, or American Land Title Association Survey, is a specific kind of survey that includes the boundary lines, easements, and the location of the main building. These surveys are typically done for commercial properties.

As-Builts

As-Built surveys have become the standard type of survey when dealing with a utility lines such as sanitary, water, and storm sewer. As-Builts show all of the valves, reducers, manholes and inlets associated to that particular line with flowline elevation

Boundary Surveys

A boundary survey determines the property lines of a parcel of land described in a deed. It will also indicate the extent of any easements or encroachments and may show the limitations imposed on the property by state or local regulations.

Construction Staking

Construction Staking is to stake out reference points and markers that will guide the construction of new structures such as roads or buildings. These markers are usually staked out according to a suitable coordinate system selected for the project.

Topography

A topographic survey is similar to an ALTA survey, except with the added condition of putting elevations on the map. This is shown with contours. These surveys can be done used for residential surveys as well as commercial surveying.
